Private sector resources may be registered using the electronic form.  To register electronically follow the steps outlined below:

1. Go to the Safeguard Iowa Partnership website: www.safeguardiowa.org  

2. Select the Initiative Teams link.

3. Select the Resources and Preparedness link

4. Select Business Resource Registry Overview

5. Select Business Resource Registry Terms and Conditions

6. Review the terms and conditions and select “I Agree” to register resources

7. Complete all required data fields

8. Select “File” and "Print" to create a copy of the completed form for your records

9. Review the data to ensure all required fields have been completed

10. Select “Submit”

11. Choose to close the form or add another resource.

12. An e-mail confirmation will be sent when the resource is recorded in the Business Resource Registry Database. (Please allow 30 days for processing).

13. If the data shall need to be revised, contact the Resource Registry Administrator at sip@safeguardiowa.org.

Hard Copy

1. Click here to select the PDF Business Resource Registration Form and complete a separate form for each resource you wish to register.

2. Submit completed forms to:

   Attn: Business Resource Entry Form
   P.O. Box 657
   Des Moines, IA 50306-0657
   

3. The Resource Registry Administrator will record the resource data exactly as it is stated on the form. (Please allow 30 days for processing).

4. A valid e-mail address and phone number is required for all resources.

5. Once the resource is registered, an e-mail confirmation will be sent.

6. If the data shall need to be revised, contact the Resource Registry Administrator at sip@safeguardiowa.org.

At least once per year all registered resource owners will receive a message to validate the resources registered in the database.
